I am gutted to say that I have lost my Mum, Pauline Yvonne Smith Born January 13th 1951- October 27th 2021. My Mum was born in Berwick in the parish of St catherine, Jamaica 🇯🇲 I have been thinking of what to say and I just keep seeing images and reliving moments throughout my Mums life, she loved reggae music and her favorite artists was #Bobmarley, She came to UK as young girl, in 1965. By no means has it been an easy journey, Her first love, my Dad had a stint of bad times, they separated when I was maybe three years old and tried again, it didn’t workout, as long as I can remember my Mum as always suffered from Mental Health, in and out of many hospitals, peeps who really know me from Acton, West London, know what I mean, I have seen my Mum go thru many dark things, but I really mean this, she just kept a smile and was happy in her own World, I have never heard her say a bad word or anything about people, or color or religion, background etc. I have always had certain demons to deal with, but we all have. Myself and my wife spoke to my Mum the day before she was suppose to get an MRI for her Knee, she didn’t want to go and was going to get moved to a new home. I spoke to her ten hours before I got the call from the home that she passed in her sleep, we are waiting for the post Mortem to find out exactly what happened. I was lucky enough to go to London four times this year and each time I would go to Harlesden and pick up some food from One stop and bring her Jamaican food in my days off from work, which she loved, On a lighter note, my Mum always thought we were related to the Queen and that I was a billionaire and used to say Rhino, which she always called me 😂 I knew you would make it in Hollywood, she doesn’t know half the struggle in staying here and keeping in the fight, but that’s ok, as she was so happy that her only child had made it in her eyes. Mum I love you, I love you and thank you for all your support, It will burn me that I never got to spoil you, but once again that’s my inner demons. Rest easy Mum and I will fight in your name forever 👊🏾💔😔 Everyone tell the people you love, over and over again that you love them. Please 🙏🏾
