Noah Reid Instagram – Today, on the anniversary of the last night of the first time out, I’ve been goin down memory lane and looking at some of the great shots my buddy @jake.sherman took in Chicago. Seems like a lifetime ago and also yesterday. I haven’t shared many of these photos because when the whole thing ground to a halt, it seemed like there was nowhere for them to go. But today, to me anyway, they serve as a reminder of what our lives used to look like, of the importance of music and art and how those things drive connection, and of the incredible energy of a room full of people going out for the night to enjoy themselves. Feels important not to forget these things we never thought we’d lose as we fight to get them back. This long winded caption is probably just a way to rationalize posting a bunch of photos of myself doing something I love and miss dearly, but I’m feelin it today so fuck it. What a privilege and a joy it was playing these shows with @barbermattic @adriangordoncook and @matthewbaileymusic (all of whom I’ve been in the studio with since, making new music) and of course the Mack Truck @mack_long_music drivin the bus in so many ways. And to my team, Sean and Cortney at @baselinemusic and Rob @paquinartists for putting the First Time Out Tour together, thank you, I’ll never forget it.
