Children are the same wherever you go in the world – part wonder, part delight, some shy, others show offs, and always carrying inside them, guileless affection. In Kolhapur, again. Had a candid and intense discussion with children born with HIV (PLHIV) at the Care Centre of the Lotus Medical Foundation. It wasn’t surprising to hear that, more than the disease, what they found more difficult to handle was the stigma they faced. As if the cards dealt to them weren’t hard enough. #breakthestigma
