I don’t know what else to say other than one of the great honors of my career was appearing in Carl Franklin’s cinematic adaptation of the great Chicano classic, Rudolfo Anyaya’s Bless Me, Ultima. If you haven’t read it yet, do yourself a favor. The novel is timeless. I was lucky to have crossed paths with Maestro Anaya. He was kind and generous. Those are things you don’t take for granted.
