Novel, but worth it! Before the season finale of Superman & Lois tonight, I wanted to share something that happened this weekend that I believe exemplifies what Superman is all about. I was on vacation with my family & while we were at the beach, a young man walked up to us & asked if we wanted to buy a rock he had painted. He started into an elaborate story about a man who wanted to purchase the rock for $100, but of course, wasn’t there that day. So, he said he’d give me deal & sell it to me for $5. I asked him questions about his career as a budding artist/what he wanted the money for (answer: “Arcades & other stuff.”). After about 10 minutes, I decided to reward his bold & imaginative efforts with the purchase of this rock. I gave him a $10 bill & without missing a beat he said, “Thanks for the tip!” He ran off to join his buddies waiting for him at the boardwalk & off they went to the arcade, I assumed.
On our way to dinner, we passed him & his friends (more of them now) still at the beach & with an extensive selection of painted rocks being offered for “donations”. After I stopped to ask for a picture (I thought it would be a nice companion piece to go along with the story), we were told by a young girl that all the proceeds were going to a foundation in their friend’s name for pediatric brain cancer research, of which their friend had passed away from a few years ago. Their parents told us they had been encouraging the kids to enjoy their vacation at the beach, but the kids had insisted that THIS is what they wanted to do. My other family members quickly joined in with donations of their own. The next day, I passed by one of the parents & asked if I could share this story & she said, “absolutely.”
Dexter, thank you for the art rock. It will forever be proudly displayed in my home & I will relish the chance to tell this story to anyone who asks me about it.
To me, Superman isn’t Superman because he can do everything. It’s because he does anything good that he can whenever he has the chance. That he’s a friend when friends are needed. And that’s what these Super young people were doing. So I tip my cap to them for doing good, and for being good friends.

ICYMI: This WAS breaking news about 10 days ago. So I’m a little late. But let’s be honest, if you’ve followed me on here for any time at all, what else would you really expect at this point? @cwsupermanandlois is now streaming on @hbomax – with extended cuts.
We heard live music for the first time in over a year coming from this room while we were filming and this is how desperate we were to get a peek. Needless to say, @bitsietulloch ‘s attempt to give me a boost was naturally just as successful, but unfortunately not caught on camera. #SupermanAndLois has a new episode tonight! It’s one that I hope people enjoy watching as much as we enjoyed filming.
Mama and Papa at the Kent farm. Grateful to finally be able to show them the new pad. New episode of Superman & Lois tonight!

At first, you might think – pandemic portrait of @bitsietulloch … and usually, that’d be a good guess. But, if you knew Bitsie the way we know Bitsie, then you would know that it’s never that simple. Instead, here is a series of photos showing what happens when our Bitsie tries to get me back using my own prank – yes, she gets stuck between the floor and my chair. Side note: this event was not short lived. *No Bitsies were harmed in the making of this post.*
