Uwielbiam czytać autobiografie, a ta jest wyjątkowo dobrze napisana i wydaje się faktycznie aż do szpiku kości szczera. Opowieść o skomplikowanych relacjach rodzinnych, życiu z bulimią, walce z rakiem i karierze gdzie np. gaża wypłacana była jej w gotówce zapakowanej w plastikowe torebki z supermarketu. 💫 *** This is the most important book I’ve read in 2021.I love reading autobiographies and this one is very special – truly well-written and indeed close to the bone honest. It talks about complicated family relationships, living with bulimia, fighting cancer and an extraordinary career where for example Lisa was paid in cash brought to her in supermarket plastic bags. Sometimes you feel this connection with someone you don’t even know, a strong connection to their story – it’s a great experience for the reader but I guess it’s also every writer’s goal.
