They say that the characters you play give you something and take something from you. When I was approached to play “Didi” I was lingering in this uncertain anxious energy, eager to know what happens when you make it at the top (which I feel every actor experiences) and I really wanted to break away from that.
Didi was above all of that..she was sitting right at the top owning everything and everyone.. and I would have given my all to experience even a minute of it! Thankyou @vasanbala for giving me that opportunity..
I think somewhere didi took away the insecurity in me and gave me this immense power of finding The ‘spotlight’ within.😇

This Diwali I wasn’t supposed to be home due to some prior commitment at work.. I could hear the sadness in my parents voice whenever I used to speak to them which made me feel helpless. At the very last moment I got to know that my shoot has been cancelled so I just picked up my backpack and took the next flight home. The smile I saw on their faces was priceless. Diwali wouldn’t have been the same without them.❤️
