I’ve been traveling solo way before instagram came into being 🙂 My first solo trip was in Australia when I was 18 or 19. Since then I’ve traveled the world solo. I did it for myself not for the gram and it was even more freeing!!!
Whatever money I earned as a kid, I just spent it on travel.
I have one piece of advice for you girls-
Just pack your bags and go – you won’t regret it!
The best experiences in my life have been when I least expected it.
The moments I remember most are the ones in what people call the most “dangerous” places where I have just been by myself. Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Jamaica, Virgin Islands.

I beleive happiness is a habit and you can develop it.
Here are some more habits that help me stay in a happy place.
1. Giving generously
Stingy people are never happy, right?
2. Having a higher goal
Example goal is not to have these many followes but it’s to being able to influence these people to be good to the environment or help them finding their purpose or happiness 🙂
3. Focusing on what im good at.
4. Making time to do things that make me happy. Like watching the sunset
5. Finding the humour in everything.
This is my goal for 2022

In my case, the ocean makes me soooo happy. Being in nature in general just nourishes me but the ocean makes me crazy happy!!
Besides nature, here are my hacks to being happy even when I’m having a sad day.
1. Gratitude

4. Nurturing friendships and family relationships.
5. Smiling more
6. Exercising even if it’s for 10 mins
7.Sleeping more
8. Getting out of the house even if it’s to buy toothpaste

This year I learnt that in the process of being a creator or an artist – there will always be challenges and change.
That happened when I was an actor as well.
And sometimes as a creator or actor or artist – you will ask yourself – Is this my true calling?? Is this really me?
I spent so many years as an actor until I finally decided the process was too much for me. I was burnt out by the process. I wanted to just be happy and be me.
I started traveling and telling stories and became a creator, story teller.
But truthfully this year when reels came in – all these trends – i didn’t want to be a sheep and follow trends but then i realised the algorithm wasn’t on my side –
I wasn’t able to tell stories in my way anymore, the pressure just got to me..
I was feeling disappointed and burntout.
These past 8 days traveling solo, making new friends, learning something new – surfing
has nurtured me and making me feel me again.
I don’t have all the answers but I have peace now.
Just got a call that I’m getting some award today from the Governer – for content creation so flying back to Mumbai 🙂
The signs are telling me to continue on my journey and keep going 😅

I am Covid Negative. Whew!
I had a difficult 14 days of isolation and I am so so excited to announce I am back in the world.
It was a challenge to be isolated and even more challenging to be home and not wander the world freely.
I had a few dark moments I must admit.
New year’s day especially was a rough one but it’s behind me now.
I cried when the BMC sealed my apartment and was so emotional when they took the seal off.
Looking forward to better times. I beg that nobody eats a bat this year 🤣 or creates some other man made epidemic. Hope 2022 the world goes back to what it was pre 2019.
My Freedom is what I am celebrating today ❤️

Real Talk .
This year I am going to focus on being Mentally Stronger.
I’ve written down 10 points to help me. See if they work for you too? Also please do share any points I may have missed.
1. Morning Pages, keeping a diary and self reflection.
2. One thing that challenges me everyday- for me staying home is a challenge so I have been staying home for the past 7 days now.
3. Give up a bad habit – I’m giving up mindless phone scrolling. This is a hard one but I’m going to do this!
4 Set goals. I am going to grow my YT and make longer form videos which is what I enjoy more.
5. Identify my strengths- relatability and story telling and many life experiences.
6. Identify my weakness- disorganized, forgetful
7. Gratitude daily before bed. (will share this with you in my stories every night, maybe we can do it together)
8. Write down 3 new ideas everyday
9. Exercise everyday- build muscle
10. Find more time for friends

Have you ever tried something and just fallen in love with it?
This year, right at the end of the year – just a few weeks ago when I was feeling a burnout – I tried surfing again.
I’ve always got a high in the water but I never had given surfing so many days. This time I dedicated a week just for surfing and BANG!
It just gave me a different kind of high and I couldn’t get enough it. So much so that I have been postponing my return flight from Goa every day just for one extra day of surfing.
Let’s just say I get really high on a wave. 🌊🏄♀️

What place have you discovered by chance?
While walking through the city I discovered this beautiful Shah-E-Hamadan Masjid🕌
It is one of the best examples of Kashmiri wooden architecture, and is decorated with papier mache.
Srinagar is so full of surprises, and the best way to explore it is by walking 🚶🏾♀️though its street and lanes. Almost every street corner has something new and different and vintage. 😃If you have a few days to spend in Srinagar just walk the streets.❤️

I’ve always felt that I heal best when I am in Nature – in the blue sea or just walking in the green grass. My grandmom used to say, look at green your eyes will never deteriorate.
I decided to look this up to see if there was any truth to this and realised there is a whole science to it.
Colour therapy, also called chromotherapy, is a method of treating ailments by using colours.
This is what I found-
Red :
It is a stimulating and energizing colour. It is used in the treatment of diseases like low blood pressure, rheumatism, paralysis, & anaemia
Orange :
Orange is useful for stimulating blood supply and energizing the nerves.
Violet :
Violet is used for treating nervous and emotional disturbances, arthritis and insomnia.
Yellow :
It is a stimulant to the brain, the liver and the spleen. It is used for the treatment of diabetes, indigestion, kidney and liver issues.
Purple :
It is beneficial in the disorders of the stomach, cataract, migraine and skin disorders.
Green :
Green is regarded as a colour of harmony. It is a mild sedative. It is useful in the treatment of nervous conditions, ulcers, influenza, malaria, colds, sexual disorders and cancer.
Blue :
Cool, soothing and sedative, blue relieves pain, reducing bleeding and heals burns. It is beneficial in the treatment of dysentery, colic, asthma, respiratory disorders, high blood pressure and skin aberrations.
