Day 1 of the shoot of #Nilanilaodivaa. @nandhini_js and I discussed the tats extensively before shoot and @tattoo_sharath applied the tattoos. The process took 3 hours and I was often in makeup longer than @thesunainaa.😜
Every few hours depending on the heat and wear and tear madhan and our art department assistants (gopi & Stephen) would touch it up and take care to preserve it. The assistant directors esp @rajarajan2019 would be tearing their hair out over the continuity and placement of the tats.. All in all a team effort 🙂 #viuoriginal #ViuTamil

This episode introduces @bavithraofficial as Om & Nila’s classmate Yamuna as well as our first song ‘aatha Naa pass ayiten’ which during shooting we referred to as the party or reunion song. The song was choreographed by @apsarr_ and of course composed by Ashwath. The moment where Om reveals to Nila that he still has feelings for her was one of those scenes we knew while reading the script would be an important turning point in their relationship. We almost shot it on the 1st schedule as the song, but decided to shoot the closeups later. We ended up shooting the scene in the last 2 days of filming. I’m pretty sure this is one of @nandhini_js favorite scenes in the show so @thesunainaa and I worked extra hard 😁@viutamil @viuindia #viuoriginal. Download link in bio.
