I imagined this exact scene for years. Wild to finally see it realized on screen. From the start I wanted bridges to be an ongoing metaphor in #SHELLTHESERIES. Bridges are built to connect. It was important for me to find a physical bridge to parallel the figurative bridge between Adam and Mabel.
And while I usually lean towards golden hour for these moments, I felt this scene called for something more intimate and fleeting. I leaned towards blue hour with the brief transition from day to night. It felt right. One of my favorites from the whole series. | Posted on 03/Feb/2022 06:29:32
