I was telling them that to be a great leader you have to be set in your convictions. I am a very passionate person that has a mind set of STRONG convictions. If I feel like a project is not right for me, even if I get offered a ton of money, if I feel it is not right, I will walk away. You have to be true to yourself! God gave us all that feeling in our gut for a reason. I call it conviction. In my past when I did not listen to my “gut” instinct or conviction, it every time came to bite me in the butt so to speak. With the power of conviction, anything can be achieved. This has been proved time and again by great leaders, strong willed ordinary people and sports personalities. It may also happen that we will be forced to take convictions with which we may not totally agree. To me conviction is worthless unless it is converted into conduct .
