Nervous, humbled and so excited to share this short doc that @megancmckenzie of @meganmckenziemedia made about the creation of the Actors Rise newsletter and community.
2020 was beyond challenging. We experienced great loss and fear, and in the midst of those challenges, our industry came together. I hope this piece is a small reflection of the strength we found.
A huge thank you to the incredible Casting Directors who went above and beyond for us and allowed Megan to feature them. In no particular order: @ccrcasting , @topramani , @jshermy.casting , @kennedycasting , @risabg & @bgbstudio , @ericasbreamcast and @somethinglikemike .
There were so many others who went unmentioned that did their part from agents to managers to SAG-AFTRA staff and volunteers to fellow actors supporting one another. I certainly learned that we all rise together.
