I haven’t been able to stop thinking about this film, #ShareTheLoad, ever since I’ve watched it. When I look around, I realise how true it is. I never noticed it before, but I am baffled by the fact that men really don’t see women as their equal.
It’s so easy for them to do chores with their hostel roommates. But they donāt behave the same with their roommates for life – their wives. I donāt want to say I am lucky to have a partner who sees me as an equal, because it is the most obvious thing to do!
Kudos to @ariel.india for being a beacon of change and we must do all we can to join them in this endeavour, bringing about this much needed change so that everyone lives as an #Equal. Let’s start to #SeeEqual, and #ShareTheLoad of household chores, along with everything else!
