Finneas O’Connell Instagram – The shell is built around a Nord stage 3, with an Akai 261 sitting on top of the lid! I’ve always loved the way Wurlitzer legs looked so we found extra tall ones so I could stand while I play. The Akai is used as a midi controller for my MainStage Rig, often with two separate synth patches being played at once, split down the middle of the keyboard and the nord is primarily used for it’s onboard sounds but on occasion, in an instance like “everything I wanted” I use it as a midi controller too so I can feel the weighted keys and play a highly processed part more accurately than I would be able to on the Akai. if you have no idea what I’m talking about, don’t worry.
