Congratulations on this well deserved nomination. This performance is, just for what is on screen, a truly powerful depiction of a woman standing firm against the tools of her oppression. But when I think of what you were dealing with off camera and that you were still nursing our baby girl and still able to deliver like this, It makes me think of that quote about ginger rogers “she could do everything he did, just backwards and in high heels”.
