Ukrainian designers and illustrators speak up with their works since the beginning of the aggressive war that Russia wages against Ukraine. They create illustrations, collages, and posters to cover major events of the war and to protest against Russian cruelty.
Some artists sell their works and donate profits to the Ukrainian Army. To support the Ukrainian Armed Forces even more, professional community has launched a flashmob under the hashtag #ЯДякуюЗСУ (Ukr. “I thank Ukrainian Armed Forces”), in order to create even more posters supporting the Ukrainian Army.
On February 27th, Holy Water IT-startup together with the Ukrainian art institutions announced an open call for the Ukrainian artists’ art works. The aim is to create NFT collection, place it on the international platforms and fundraise one million US dollars for Ukraine and the Ukrainian army.

24 лютого Російська Федерація напала на Україну. Страждають мирні мешканці, знищуються мирні житла, лікарні та дитячі будинки.
У російського народу немає доступу до правдивої інформації. Пропаганда держави-агресора виявилася настільки сильною, що звичайні жителі Росії досі не вірять або відмовляються вірити у те, що відбувається.
Ми, українські артисти, хочемо змінити обкладинки своїх альбомів, треків, аби донести цю інформацію до своїх слухачів з Росії та усього світу.
Але це зараз неможливо, тому що стримінгові платформи дотримуються позиції «поза політикою» та не пропускають нашу ініціативу. Музика більше не може бути поза політикою.
Ми об’єдналися за ініціативи музичного медіа СЛУХ і Мінцифри, звертаємося до директорів стримінгових сервісів. Світ, у якому музика — поза політикою, уже завершився. Будь ласка, дозвольте розказати правду і зупинити кровопролиття.

We appeal to the leaders of Apple Music and Spotify.
On February 24, the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine. Civilians are suffering, civils’ homes, hospitals and orphanages are being destroyed.
The Russian people do not have access to truthful information. The propaganda of the aggressor state turned out to be so strong that ordinary people in Russia still do not believe or refuse to believe what is happening.
We, Ukrainian artists, want to change the covers of our albums and tracks to convey this information to our listeners from Russia and around the world.
But this is not possible now, because streaming platforms hold a “no politics in music” position and do not miss our initiative. Music can no longer be out of politics.
We have united at the initiative of the music media SLUKH and Ministry of Digital Transformation, appeal to the directors of streaming services. The world in which music is out of politics is over. Please allow us to tell the truth and stop the bloodshed.
