Home Actress Dawn-Lyen Gardner HD Instagram Photos and Wallpapers March 2022 Dawn-Lyen Gardner Instagram - Tricia Hersey, founder of @TheNapMinistry, is one of my favorite revolutionary writers and dreamers. Her message: "Rest is critical because it's counterintuitive and counter-narrative to see slowing down, napping and rest as a key to our movement for Black liberation. But it really is so important because rest disrupts and pushes back and allows space for healing, for invention, for us to be more human." She founded The Nap Ministry in 2016 and in addition to having Instagram and Twitter accounts that continue to share this message, she offers collective napping experiences and workshops and raises awareness of the racial sleep gap. Go give her a follow if you haven't yet, and then go take a nap ☺️ #BlackRestIsPower Image 1 & 3 by @calm Image 2 by @thenapministry @charliewattphoto Image 4 by @thenapministry

Dawn-Lyen Gardner Instagram – It is such a deep honor – especially on the cusp Black History Month and Women’s History Month – to have been nominated for an NAACP Image Award alongside such brilliant Black women.

My sister, @rutina_wesley. The @queenlatifah, @octaviaspencer, and @im.angelabassett – whose win I cheer and who remains one of my craft and passion sheroes.

You all give me and so many other Black women permission to thrive in this industry, and I thank you for it. And congrats to the entire QS village, seen and unseen, for its recognition as Outstanding Drama Series. So many have poured their hearts into the show over these years, and it is a blessing to see all of that work acknowledged.

My deep gratitude to the NAACP for the honor of being nominated includes the recognition of their extraordinary legacy of both fighting for and protecting our voting rights and our elections.

The NAACP has always been on the front lines of voter protection advocacy because they know to be true what Thurgood Marshall said so many years ago: “We must dissent from the indifference. We must dissent from the apathy. We must dissent from the fear, the hatred and mistrust…We must dissent because America can do better, because America has no choice but to do better.”

May we move forward in this election year with the courage and conviction to continue the fight to protect our rights, and may the current world events give us even more reason to be a stand for ourselves, each other, and the more just world we believe is possible.

Dawn-Lyen Gardner Instagram – Alicia @chasinggarza has been a sister to me, both personally and in the movement, for years.

We’ve spent time together both on and offline, on your podcast, and in the streets. And regardless of where we connect, you always sharpen my mind and how I think about this work.

You’ve mentored and collaborated with me so much with not when it comes to just Black liberation and racial justice work, but also with economic justice and migrant rights.

Even calling you an inspiration is an understatement. You are making Women’s History, Black History, ALL the history! Love you beyond, sister. #BlackHistoryMonth #womenshistorymonth
