Ivanna Sakhno Instagram – A few months leading up to the 30th anniversary of the restoration of Ukraine’s independence, I got together with the Ukrainian Institute in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to talk about a personal symbol that represents ukrainainism, changes and formation of our country at its core. For me, one of those symbols is the 1971’s film «The White Bird Marked with Black» by Yuri Ilenko, starring one of my favorite actors, the brilliant Ivan Mikolaychuk. «30 Independent» is now available, with stories by other 29 fascinating Ukrainians who pave the path of our country’s future, and whose company I am honored to be part of. x
