Messy Mama & Sassy Saasu make Amba Haldi Besan Kadi & Pickle😍
🍃Amba Haldi has antioxidant properties, very similar to that of Turmeric and Ginger Root!!
⭐️
But Sassy Saasu calls it ☝🏼
AambaHaldar Besan Kadhi!
☝🏼
One litre dahi
Two tablespoons besan flour
Ground Aamba / Haldi ratio 3:1
Green chillies 4
Salt
Ghee 3 tablespoons
Jeera 1 tablespoon
Hing 1 teaspoon
Chopped coriander
Take the dahi, add salt and besan and three cups water. Whisk well. Start to boil.
Add the aamba haldi ground paste. Add chilli paste to your taste. Let it cook. 15 minutes with stirring.
In a small tadka vessel add 3 tablespoons ghee. When hot, add 1 tablespoon jeera. Let crackle. Shut the heat and add 1 teaspoon hing and immediately pour it over the kadhi. Add some chopped coriander, pour and drink !

Haldi Aamba Chilli Pickle
Take an equal quantity of Aamba and haldi roots. Peel and chop them into little rounds.
Take about 15 limes and juice them. Add a good amount of salt and pour it over the roots. The liquid should cover the roots completely.
Leave 24 hours and then keep in the refrigerator. Should stay for 6 months.
Another pickle is to add slit green chillies to this mix. It adds a delicious spice to it.
