Not hearing interpreters, family members, and so on… 2. Put captions on everything! 3. Learn sign language (PS: don’t use it as clout) 4. Ask for their communication & accessibility preferences. 5. Treat Deaf people like humans. In other words, they’re more than just Deaf. Get to know them deeply. And…not one size fits all as all Deaf people are not the exact same. And each one comes with a set of their own needs and wants. Honor them in every way possible. Thank you!
