What a blissful place it is to be, in one’s own head. In there, flowers can glow and stars can wilt. That’s where she lived. She made her own world of solitude and bliss and swayed there in a blithe disregard of the world outside. Unbound laughter, graceful moments of love, and the sublime beauty of nature. I had the perfect elixir to craft the prewedding portraits of Sharadh and Sharayu, two jovial folks who could light up any room they walked into.
The gentle morning sun was by our side as we strolled the verdant milieus of Tamarind Tree, Bengaluru. Whiffs of crisp air enchanted us, fragrant with the scent of fresh flowers and mud. Accompanying us were tiny colourful birds and the golden rays of the sun, as we explored the little green pockets of serenity around us.
That morning, Sharadh and Sharayu had arrived in an adorable lighthearted spirit. Their traditional attires of red and white complemented the earthy tones of Tamarind Tree, and their radiant smiles did the rest of the trick. We spent the next few hours immersed in sweet laughter and love, as I pictured them in all their beauty and grace. I still remember the precious look in their eyes and the warmth they shared with each other.
Perhaps that gives these photographs the special place they have in my heart. That I collected all the love, light, and laughter from those moments and gave them to the couple to cherish forever.

Some precious moments stolen from Nidhi and Shirish’s joyous wedding day
Nidhi and Shirish’s wedding was a fanfare marked by abundant joy, vibrant colours, and glorious ceremonies ringing in one after another. While it was a delight to keep up with the celebration as it unfolded, I was perpetually on the lookout for special moments.
Whenever I found little pockets of time between a pooja here and a family gathering there, I engaged in painting portraits of the bride and groom away from the revelry. It resulted in these simple glimpses from their momentous day, like precious moments caught hold of as they floated effortlessly in time.
Soon, the golden sun departed and a starry sky took over the Heritage Khirasara Palace in Rajkot. It was under this brilliant sky that Nidhi and Shirish took sacred pheras and exchanged the promise of a lifetime, just a few hours later.

The sun always shines brighter on two people who are in love. These heartwarming photos are a testament to that.
It was one of those perfect autumn days marked by gratifying warmth and sheer joy. I had driven down to the outskirts of Bengaluru with Sharadh and Sharayu, and we were looking forward to clicking some memorable prewedding portraits. When the sun was still revelling in its evening glory, we found ourselves in a sprawling golden field far away from the traffic uproar and shiny concrete buildings. The balmy air enveloped us into a sweet melody as we enjoyed a cosy picnic, savouring wine with sweeter talks.
Wrapped in the comfort of each other’s company, Sharadh and Sharayu enjoyed each passing moment with glee. Their faces shone with joy, and conversation followed seamlessly– one lovely anecdote after the other. It was indeed a delight to be in their company and click the couple in their true element, laughing and sharing tender moments of love with each other. It is times like these that remind me why I love telling stories through pictures. For me, there’s no joy greater than that of shared love.

Peaceful and yet jovial in the purest way possible. Vibrant but also earthy, rooted in culture and the beauty it brings. Doused in the tenderness of flowers and yet strong as the mould of rocks. These pictures represent the love I witnessed between Sharayu and Sharadh in all its different, heartwarming ways.
It was a beautiful day at the Tamarind Tree, Bengaluru, and the three of us were filled with a peculiar bliss that morning. Perhaps it was the magic of the lush green trees that enveloped us or just the doing of gentle sunshine that moved gracefully along.

Oh what an honour, to chronicle the purest love and all the emotions it brings.
@shirish_p07 and @nidhi11_1991 ’s wedding ceremony was studded with all things glimmery and beautiful. A starry sky blessing the couple as they took pheras, a reverie of dance and music taking over the air, and the loved ones rejoicing galore. It was a true delight to be in the middle of all the celebration.
Little did I know that the most heartwarming moments were yet to unfold. As the rituals approached an end, the moon rose further over our heads and it was time for the bride’s bidaai. Within a few moments, the air seemed to take a tender and poise turn as Nidhi began to bid her goodbyes. Pearly tears were followed by the most endearing smiles and words of love.
And it was then that I took these photographs, that I feel encompass all the love that floated in the air. It is indeed a stroke of fortune that my work allows me to freeze such delicate, fleeting moments in time. It makes all the difference to the artist in me.

The evening had blessed us with the most divine sunlight as we ambled the verdant milieus of Tamarind Tree, Bangalore. I remember being lost in a lighthearted conversation with Sharayu and Sharadh for the few hours we spent making their portraits.
Donned in tender shades of lavender, the couple stood apart brightly amidst the earthy tones of Tamarind Tree, treating the artist in me to a visual delight. The frame only bloomed with more charm as the couple unfurled into a graceful twirl. And at the same time, the vibrant sprays of magenta added all the more flavour to this artistic concoction.
As I look back at that beautiful February evening, I admire how effortless the whole experience was. The three of us strolling the earthy grounds looking for pockets of sunlight here and there, as the sun gradually dipped below the horizon.

Nidhi’s glorious wedding ceremony was preceded by the most jovial and colourful haldi celebration. The morning was still young and fresh at the Heritage Khirasara Palace of Rajkot. The family was painted in a bright and inciting yellow for the haldi, bringing the scene to life with a riot of colours and celebration.
As I walked the vibrant space, I was glad to observe the mirth that filled the air along with all the sparkle and gold. The ladies sang folk songs and danced in circles, the kids played catch in all their liveliness, and Nidhi, laced in grace and charm, was taking in each precious moment as felicity unfurled around her.
To my delight, these pictures reflect the pure joy that filled the room that morning. Each moment bursted with colour and energy, and I was grateful to revel in its glory as I froze those precious emotions in time.
Today, when I see these photographs, I can’t help but transport myself back to that sprightly morning and feel the bliss I felt then all over again.

Chaitra and Kunal’s wedding ceremony was straight out of a fairytale. The wedding dais was fragrant with elaborate designs of roses and jasmines, friends and family were blithely immersed in the celebration, and the ravishing couple were on cloud nine throughout the day.
Sharing two of the many precious moments that I captured on their big day in the transcending green milieus of the Tamarind Tree, Bangalore. Their wedding brought all the serendipity to the artist in me, wrapped in shades of emerald green and the sparse warming silken reds, engulfed in laughter with a few tender moments of silence and grace.

Chaitra and Kunal’s wedding ceremony was straight out of a fairytale. The wedding dais was fragrant with elaborate designs of roses and jasmines, friends and family were blithely immersed in the celebration, and the ravishing couple were on cloud nine throughout the day.
Sharing two of the many precious moments that I captured on their big day in the transcending green milieus of the Tamarind Tree, Bangalore. Their wedding brought all the serendipity to the artist in me, wrapped in shades of emerald green and the sparse warming silken reds, engulfed in laughter with a few tender moments of silence and grace.
