Dayle Haddon Instagram – A moving evening at the #cinemateque in Paris presenting a new version of our film, La Dernière Amant Romantique. Many sweet memories of this film shot in the countryside in Spain where I trained with a small circus and actually performed with them in front of audiences😅A great hommage for my dear director and friend, @justjaeckin Such a great talent! Shot so beautifully by Oscar winner Robert Fraise and all my gorgeous costumes where by then designer, Marc Bohan for @dior The wonderful directors #costaGavras and #phillipelabro were there to celebrate Just and support the special evening. I was concerned after all this time that the film might not hold up but it is a beautiful, lyrical fairy tale that had a great success and seemed to be enjoyed and uplifting for all. It is so special to revisit what we have done with new eyes and remember with joy all the stories that happened behind the scenes that only adds to the film itself. It was an emotional evening. Thank you all who put this evening together with such love and care!!
