Lucy Liu Instagram – In March of 2008, I visited Côte d’Ivoire with @UNICEF to learn more about the threat to child survival caused by the lack of access to clean drinking water. It was one of the most incredible experiences of my life, and one that has stayed with me ever since. Now, in West Africa, UNICEF and partner @conceptosplasticos are turning another big problem—plastic waste—into a big opportunity, by recycling used plastic into bricks, which are then used to build schools for thousands of children.
