As a half practicing Catholic I don’t need protection for my religious beliefs . We fought hard to end the CNNA ( Catholics need not apply )to the jobs adds of the 1900′ – 1960’s. This bill is about one thing. Publicly funded private schools having the right to exclude students and teachers on the basis of their self identified gender /sex and who they chose to be and love . As a Catholic I know this bill takes us back to the time of CNNA and will enshrine the right of private schools to post job adds that specify LGBT teachers Need not apply. LGBT parents need not apply . LGBT kids need not apply . You can’t protect the rights of beliefs of one group to the exclusion and infringement on the rights of another . How the fuck people can put Jesus name to this bill is bewildering . He would go full Temple on this .
