Happy Woman’s Day to all my bold & beautiful ladies!
Your reaction to this may be negative. This was a hard video to make because if you say i want a baby πΌ – it’s positive. If you say no – you’re immediately judged.
Women often feel pressured to have a baby and it is often seen as a woman’s “role” in society to bear a child and further the lineage. But the decision to have or not have a baby is much more complicated than that. As women, it affects our bodies, our careers, our life decisions, our own needs and ambitions. Today, I am sharing a few of the many reasons why I choose to not have a child and I just want to communicate, that as women whether we choose to have a baby or not, whether we go for adoption or one of the many options available today, it is important that we make that decision free from societal pressures and expectations of people around us.

Who in your life is a charger?
Name that person :)) and thank them!!!
Energy is everything and i do believe that’s all we are – energy balls!! π
I feel we can either be Chargers or Drainers. Ever hung out with somebody and felt like a squeezed nimboo when they left?
And then think of the people who make you feel energised when you’re with them!
Sometimes people who charge you can also drain you. They may be having a bad day. But if it’s everytime, then that’s not somebody you want to meet often, right?
Now, next time you hangout with your friend or lover or husband or wife also think – am I going to be a charger or a drainer to this person?
Choose to be a charger! β€οΈ

In all my years of going to Goa I never knew about Divar. So this time i decided to check out the island of Divar that lies in the Mandovi river.
Don’t miss the clay bath and the feni tasting if you visit.
@soul.travelling Thanks for showing me around β€οΈ

On my mummy’s birthday, let’s celebrate all moms!!!
What are the lessons you’ve learnt from your mom???
Our mothers love us the most, isn’t it?
Lessons I learnt from my mummy-
1. Life is how you make it. If you put in the work, you will succeed
2. Attitude is everything!!! You will never see my mummy or daddy complaining.
3. Never take no for an answer. As a kid I spent so many days at the BMC office, my mom wanted the garbage to be taken care of that was dumped all over bandra.
4. My love for trees and plants comes from mummy!
5. My love for music and theatre comes from mom who’s taught speech and drama to kids at schools in bandra. Today so many young kids come up to me and say your mom was my teacher.
Even though she never wanted me to be an actor :)) she’s finally accepted it hahaa and now she’s really proud of what I do!
6. If i was ever sad or crying about a breakup, my mom has always had my back- ” breathe, put on a nice dress and forget about it. What did you see in him anyway?” :)))
7. Do everything for the people you love!
When I’m sick, even recently when I had COVID, my mom risked it- came over, she opens up all the curtains and windows, arranges the house nicely, makes me a Sandwich π₯ͺ and somehow I always get better!!!! Thankssss mummy!!
8. Dress up even when you feel down.
She even more fashionable than me and we often got into arguments because she always wants me nicely dressed and i feel she treated me as a doll as a kid hahhaa
9. If your home is messy, your life is messy. Nobody is better at organising a home like my mom.
Happy Birthday to my Mummy!!!
We didn’t always have the smoothest relationship while I was growing up and I couldn’t always tell her everything but over the years we learnt to understand each other.
I know nobody loves me as much as my ma does. I would take a bullet for my dearest Mummy!!!! π

Who and what brings you peace?
For me peace is the most important thing in the world. I realise I have to sometimes give up people i love very much because they don’t bring me peace. I also given up watching shows that pull me down. For me my mental health is my priority and
Mental health + peace go hand in hand. To be peaceful i make sure I stay focused on managing my own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
What about you???

What countries did I miss? Are you ready to fly abroad!
Is the pandemic really over???
More and more countries easing travel restrictions and opening their doors to tourists. All the hours I spent in the lockdown, doing research and adding places to my bucket list, it is finally time to check them off one by one. I am already packing my bags, where are you off to next???

Why do we ruin our home country and not respect what God has given us??
I was shocked to see we have our own Grand Canyon in India!!
This is in Andhra Pradesh. Gandikota β€οΈππΎ what a stunning natural treasure!!!!
What to expect –
Jagged rocks
Layered in shades of red.
A view of the Penna river passes through the canyon floor as it cuts through the Erramala hills.
It’s also home to two ancient temples and a 12th Century fort.
Sadly, you will be frustrated with how tourists have treated this gorgeous place with no respect and thrown kachra around.
Why do we ruin our home country like this and not respect what God has given us??
