My 20’s weren’t spent finding myself so much as discovering the self I knew and didn’t love. Finding paths to change and evolve a way of life that didn’t serve me any longer, if at all. Leaving behind old habits and creating new ones. Healing. I could not have done that without the help of a Shaman and healer, Kathy Grammer, and her guidance. Today is her birthday and in honor of that, her husband @redgrammer has added her guided meditations to YouTube for anyone to utilize and dig deeper with. Below is a brief blurb about Kathy and her work. She taught me how to find the truth within myself and how to use sisterhood as a mode of healing. TODAY IS THE DAY!! Season Finale day of @kingsofnapa!! This video was made by the amazing @ellestaubynbeauty who I had the pleasure of working with every day as my make up artist. Michelle, you really helped set the tone of the work day each morning with our check ins and guttural laughs about the wild parts of life #ThePinotOfItAll 😭It was a highlight of my days. Thank you @erica.croft head of hair who was always dropping knowledge about the beauty of Black hair in this business and keeping us on our toes with these incredible pieces and fun styles. Thank you @royalessencenailstudio_whitby our nail tech who is a magician who not only made our nails look fly but took care of our hands and cuticles as well!! And thank you to @jessmakeup55 head of makeup for always holding space and a calm energy for us to walk into the trailer with and for that amazing coffee every morning!!
