Pat and our team are so happy that Lyle’s final work has gotten the recognition it deserved by a Grammy Award as Best Instrumental Composition for “Eberhard”! While Pat did not win this year he is thankful for his 39th Grammy nomination for ‘Side-Eye NYC VI.IV’ Pat has won 20 Grammy awards in 12 different categories.

Exciting Side-Eye News We are thrilled to welcome a fantastic new player to the ongoing evolution of Pat’s Side-Eye project. 24-year-old keyboard phenom @chrisfishmanmusic will be featured on the upcoming European tour, rounding out this edition of the band with Pat and the fantastic New Orleans drummer @joe_dyson. Originally from Los Angeles, Chris has worked with Flying Lotus, Louis Cole, Thundercat, Genevieve Artadi, Joshua Redman, and many others. Pat says, “I have had a close eye on Chris for several years now. I saw him playing trio at a club here in NYC with the great tenor player Dayna Stephens and have been getting together regularly to play with him ever since. I am impressed with not only his evolved musicianship but also his adventurousness. He has a wide range of expression, from very subtle textures and a great touch on piano to an exceptional understanding of synths and keyboards. He is already inspiring me to explore some new Side-Eye destinations.” Chris says “Pat’s music has been a major influence on me from when I first started playing. It’s an honor to perform and grow alongside such an iconic artist. I’m excited to contribute to the vision of this band and discover new possibilities within the music.”
