Bhumika Chawla Instagram – VIRTUAL VS REAL The world of screens …. Is our happiness now in phones— or screens .??!! Updating everything— , social media , gaming addiction ?? A hundred Messages back and forth with what’s app what could earlier have been said in one call or message ?? Seeing time on phones ? Checking updates and seeing informative videos to funny videos to doing research on phone SCREEN ADDICTION!! Is our worth checking in the number of calls we get or messages ?? Is our worth on the number of likes going up or red hearts ♥️ we see on stories and updates ?? Is it really worth increasing business through over use of social media and that giving a high to us ?? Where is the real ?? The real love ! The real family ? The real growth reading , or being outdoor or having a real meal together ?? Do we need to pause before we go to our phones !! Digital overuse by all is harming all . !! From adolescents to adults and to kids who are maturing faster because of digital use . The thinning of the outermost layer of brain starts thinning that process’s information . .. cortex .. Most peoples’ days begin with reading news on phone , Messages on what’s app , social media and kids on phones , games , tv … It affects health ! It affects relationships . Couples having tea together —yet in separate worlds ?? Phones have started going to bathrooms — the space that was to be used for private business . It increases unhappiness In reality , though on the outside it gives us a feeling of unreal joy …. less outdoor activity , less conversations at home , Lack of self confidence and concentration , bouts of anger , depression … Some rare forwards on what’s app are really nice — for those who are on my friend list and think I need to read those pls post it home to me .. don’t send me gifts .. send me good reading material probably compile it and send once in a month or two … I am hoping and trying to do a digital detox – try . for this is an addiction that all of us have … And I am wanting — wanting to go off it for a while ….
