Get an education at the university Enter the New York Film Academy, The Los Angeles Film School or any other film academy and create your own projects in the process of your studies. 2. Create your own team not having this education Find like-minded people “on the street”, start making movies for fun and see what you’ve managed to achieve. 3. Invest into movies This is my option. First of all, I started investing in film projects. People noticed me, they’ve found out that I can promote films efficiently, and they began to invite me to other projects. Email was just overloaded with offers: “Polina, please, be a producer of our film, promote our film.” Making movies is exactly what I like to do. So I can influence the industry and break old patterns. For example, I don’t like when people from the post USSR countries are shown as bad guys or criminals, alcoholics or uneducated.
