Not much is known about the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War, and our next #SBCBookOfTheMonth strives to bring those stories to the forefront.
December in Dacca by K.S. Nair aims to highlight the role of the Indian Armed Forces and the numerous poignant and heartwarming stories as well as the thrilling anecdotes from this period. It also provides a glimpse into the lives of some of these heroes once the dust had settled.
I’m very intrigued by the synopsis of this book, and I look forward to reading it and gaining a deeper understanding of what transpired during the war.
