Christmas!!! My favorite time of year. And this year I got to do something really special and decorate with my amazingly creative and fabulous sisters! First time ever! The love of over the top Christmas decor came directly our mom and dad. It must be in the genes too cause it’s just not normal but we sure do love it.🎄 🎄 🎄 We love it cause there so much creativity involved , but it creates an experience for people to enjoy and it simply makes them happy. This Christmas theme was very different for me. I usually pack the ornaments in and more is always better. But this year I wanted to honor our families Scandinavian heritage and give them a Christmas that we’ve never had. Restraint was 💯 the hardest for me. Ok ok ok I know there are 65 trees in my main living area, that will never change, but the ornaments are just enough to give that simple Scandinavian simplicity with my over the top amount of trees. And of course the gnomes took the simple and somewhat serious Scandinavian design and brought humor, happiness and pure delight to the decor. Everyone has been asking where did I get the faux beams which completely took the space to a whole new level of yumminess. @barrondesigns is the place and the variety of textures and options are amazing!!!
