growing up my mom would put onions around the house for good luck. i started second guessing her because i later found out she got this info from facebook groups or my aunt (i was 7 btw). i wanted to explore my difficulties navigating superstitions. these superstitious beliefs are usually taught to prevent misfortune but Talisman explores the complete opposite.
i’ve been waiting to share this film for two years. @angewxng and i worked on Talisman since 2020 and we never thought we’d be in seattle for @nfftyfilm let alone having @watch_alter distribute this film
