ಅಪ್ಪು ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಕಳೆದ ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ನೆನಪುಗಳು ಅತ್ಯಮೂಲ್ಯ . ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಾವು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ನೆನೆಯುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಈ ಕಷ್ಟದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಗವಂತ ಅಶ್ವಿನಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಧೈರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಿ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅಗಲಿರುವ ಇಂತ ಉನ್ನತ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗೆ ಸಂತಾಪ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಅವರ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳ ಜೊತೆ ಇರುವೆನು.
ಅಪ್ಪು ಅವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹಲವರು ಬರೆದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕ ಸಂದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ಓದುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಅಕ್ಷರಸಹ ನಿಜ. ಕೆಲವಂತು ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರು ತಂದಿತು. ಅದುವೇ ಪುನೀತ್. ಹೌದು, ಅವರೇ ಅಪ್ಪು…
ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಓದಿದಾಗ ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಡಿದ ಕೆಲವು ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳು ಇವು.
ಒಬ್ಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿಡಲು ಉತ್ತಮ ಮಾರ್ಗ ಯಾವುದು? ನೆನಪುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅದು ಮಾಸಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತವೆ, ಆದರೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿಡಲು ಒಂದು ಮಾರ್ಗವಿದೆ- ಅವರು ಬದುಕಿದ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ನಾವು ಬದುಕುವುದು. ಅವರಂತೆಯೇ ನಾವು ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕರುಣಾಪೂರ್ಣ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಾವು ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಅವರನ್ನು ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿ ಇಡುವುದು. ದಿನನಿತ್ಯ ನಾವು ಅವರ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವವನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ನಾವು ಅವರನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿ ಇಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ. ಈ ರೀತಿ ನಾವು ಅವರ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಬಹುದು. ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರು ಅಪ್ಪು ರನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿ ದಿನವೂ ಆರಾಧಿಸೋಣ. #BeAppu #BeKind

As women we are constantly blamed for every crime a man commits against a woman. Whether it is rape or whether he abuses you physically or verbally.
We often hear this- It’s your fault, you shouldn’t have said that, you shouldn’t have done that, you shouldn’t have worn that, too tight, too short, too showy, too long, you shouldn’t have gone out late, shouldn’t have gone out at all, you shouldn’t have worn make up, why red lipstick, why glitter, shouldn’t have smiled, shouldn’t have blinked (?!) you shouldn’t this, you shouldn’t that- why? cos we are conditioned/taught to think men will be men and therefore we must compromise, we must change, we must adjust, we must put up- NO. NO!
Full stop to this nonsense.
To be honest, I’ve done this to myself and to friends. Taken the blame. But you know what? Not any more.
Don’t turn a blind eye to crimes against women. Speak up.

If you are wondering what this is 🙈 it’s my illustration of the surya namaskar. I’m not good at drawing as you can tell ☺️ but while I was doing my practice this morning I realised these asanas are very similar to life and so I drew this to express my thoughts.
Like the asanas, life is also ups and downs and plateaus. See? Get it? 🤗
Life is constant change- movement. Like the asanas.
To live life to the fullest; you got to find balance/equanimity. To get the most of the asana, balance is key.
Life is action/karma but it’s also rest/reflection.
I’m only a few months into yoga and I love it. I learn and unlearn everyday- it’s given me much to reflect on, observe, and understand myself better, for that I am so so grateful to my teachers @keymosabee and @hannahkatetyson

ಇದು ಏನೆಂದು ನೀವು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯ ಪಡುತ್ತಿದೀರ? ಇದು ಸೂರ್ಯ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರದ ದ್ರಷ್ಟಾಂತ, ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ ಸೂರ್ಯ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಇದು ಜೀವನಕ್ಕೆ ಎಷ್ಟು ಹತ್ತಿರ ಎನಿಸಿತ್ತು, ಆಸನದಂತೆ ಜೀವನವು ಏರು ಇಳಿತದಿಂದ ಹಾಗು ಸ್ಥಿರತೆ ಯಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದೆ.
ನಾನು ಯೊಗಾಭ್ಯಾಸ ಪ್ರಾರಂಬಿಸಿ ಕೆಲವು ದಿನಗಳು ಕಳೆದಿವೆ, ಯೊಗದಿಂದ ನೀವೇನಾದರು ಜೀವನ ಪಾಠಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲಿತ್ತಿದಲ್ಲಿ ದಯಮಾಡಿ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ.
