Reshma Shetty Instagram – I hope everyone had an amazing Mother’s Day . I know it’s a “ made up “ holiday, but sometimes we need a day carved out purposefully to find the time to appreciate someone . I wanted to share this picture that encapsulates so much of my life. My baby bunny and our protector in the background . Deep has always looked after me and continues by looking after our daughter with an even fiercer energy . This Mother’s Day I was given a day of surprises from my husband . An overnight stay with a wonderful dinner with surprise guests , then the next morning a paint / lunch mother & daughter party and then a NY city mini kids opera of the Barber of Seville so my daughter could have her first experience with us . I was not going to list the events , but anyone who knows my husband knows these personalized events took time for him to find . My husband who works so hard everyday to provide for his family took so much time to make my “ made up “ day special . So the day after “ Mother’s Day “ I wanted to thank him and all the men who go out of their comfort zones and Practicality coats and give the women in their lives surprises of appreciation . I know not everyone can do that , but it’s not the expense it’s the thought and my husband won this weekend . But honestly a card , flowers and lunch would have been fine, he’s got the next decade covered .
