People ask me, do you miss home on these long trips? Do you get lonely?
Do you feel homesick?
The answer to all of the above is YES! I do. Of course I do.
But, this is the life I have chosen. And whenever I feel a little down or lonely, I count my blessings.
Look at this magnificent hotel I’m staying at. With this incredible view of all of San Francisco. It’s in the center of the city. I just have to pop down and take the cable car to anywhere I feel like.
I am so blessed and lucky.
So yes, I may miss home but home is not going anywhere. It will still be there when I’m back – and I will be back full of memories and experiences.
So if i am lonely today, that’s the price i am willing to pay for the experiences ❤️

Real life update: This is a pause to remind myself that I started this page as My Happiness Project. Somewhere along the way I lost myself and got into the Rat Race of being an Influencer, the numbers, the business of it, the revenue. Suddenly it stopped being fun and became a job. I’ve decided to take a deep breath and remind myself that while this is my bread and butter, I also need to preserve my mental health. After all this page is TRAVEL ROMANCE and SMILES. AND SO, from today I will post less, I will worry less, I will go back to doing what I love. Which means I will make some IG videos – I miss them. I admit I don’t love reels, makes me feel like a sheep-trending music, text, its so blahhhh!
When traveling becomes a job to get great footage and to record every moment, the fun is lost. I still don’t take a camera person on my trips unless its a brand shoot because I do not want to lose the fun element but with reels, the pressure of getting beautiful shots is immense. I am NOT going to succumb anymore and just relax, I don’t have to shoot every moment. I need to take care of my mental peace.
I am also working hard on my Yooo Toobee channel (purposely mis spelt) But yes, that’s my aim now as I do enjoy making long form videos where I can use my voice (which is my strength)
Please leave me your thoughts. Is it just me? Or is this Influencer business harder than it looks? It’s not all glam, wham and peace of mind for anyone, is it? I know its most little girls dream these days to do what I do, I just want to let you know while its a blessing- its not as easy as it looks. It takes hard work, determination, skill, hustle and most importantly very strong EQ.

Must visit because: Lachung village, Gurudongnar lake, shingba rhododendron sanctuary. Lachung village is known for it’s orchards & stunning views.
2. Pahalgam

Must visit because: Clear lakes, trout filled streams. White water rafting, trek to Baisaran. Sign up for a round of golf at the Liddler Valley Golf Course framed by the Himalayan ranges.
3. Shillong
Temperature : 17
Must visit because : Singer Lou Majaw and his friends pay tribute to Bob Dylan at a lakeside celebration. Bod Dylan fans time your trip to this grand celebration.
4. Darjeeling
Temeprature : 12
Must visit because: Season for Rhododendrons🌷that blooms in May. Parts of Himalaya painted in red. Best place to see these flowers is the Singalila National Park.
5. Tadoba
Temperature : 38
Must visit because: Perfect time to spot big cat in the wild. Also keep your eyes peeled for sambars, barking deer, wild boars and more.
6. Ladakh
Temperature: 7
Must visit because: It’s finally not frozen!The Lakes of Pangong Tso and Tso Moriri thawing to give way to turquoise waters.

What’s your favourite place for solo traveling for men and women?
1.Shillong
Safe locales, welcoming communities. Meghalaya is Matrilineal society where women rule. Shillong is a modern fashion hub and a lively city. It is the rock music capital of India.
2.Darjeeling
Rich Gorkha Heritage, tea gardens, welcoming people and lush greenery make Darjeeling a perfect pick for solo travelers to walk in the clouds amongst tea gardens. Range of stays, food options, not to miss the mouth-watering momos, shared taxis, all make it a must select destination for solo trips.
3.Gulmarg
Meadow of flowers as it is called, is extremely safe for travellers. It is a popular skiing destination and other winter sports. Strawberry fields, Apharwat peak, Grassy pasteres, Gandola Cable Car Ride are a few of the must dos in Gulmlarg.
4.Coorg
The Scotland of India is extremely safe to travel. Our rivers and oceans are sacred!
Every year, we are feeding it over 8 million tonnes of plastic waste.
This is entering our oceans too through rivers like the Ganga.
India’s holiest river is filling up with waste every single day.
And with millions of visitors to cities like Rishikesh and Haridwar, this is becoming a growing challenge.
So much respect for NGOs like Waste Warriors who work day and night to clean up the mess. Right now they are working hard in Rishikesh and Haridwar. I admire these guys, constantly cleaning up other people’s waste. Project Aviral Ganga!
I hope to see a clean and beautiful Ganga. Don’t you?
