Walking alongside hundreds of women on their journeys to motherhood has been the greatest preparation for my own pregnancy – which has been blissful beyond my expectations. Each and every mother and baby I’ve had the privilege of supporting has given me the greatest gift and has taught me more than they may realize.
I always say, the more births you attend the less you know about birth but the more trust you have in it. Every single birth and pregnancy is unique, like the life that comes from it. Each one serves as a reminder that this process is not a formula or a textbook. By design, it is intended to challenge the hyper analytical human mind that just wants “answers.” It is a spiritual path. One that requires tremendous trust and surrender no matter which way you do it.

Four months of magic with our Blue Ridge baby 💫

People keep asking me if I have a doula and the truth is I have many ! I feel so held by these amazing women and so lucky to be supported by their wisdom and gifts.
In the first trimester my back was out of wack and @drmauramoynihan and @allisonoswald came to my rescue immediately to help me discover what my body was asking of me physically and emotionally.
As soon as I got to LA for a visit @integrateflow_birth brought my nervous system into deep relaxation with her touch, soulfulness and nourishing food.
@jackierobertswellness has keep my body feeling so good with her deep tissue massage.
@umamother inspires deeper consciousness and connectivity through breath, grounding movement meditation. I have always admired her as a doula sister and am excited to take her virtual yoga class all the way from NC.
Not long ago @sianfujikawa was my doula client but now she holds space for me and my preggy Malibu girlfriends as we flow and chat under the summer sun.
My incredible midwife @thevitalwoman is such a grounding force and wise woman in my life. I know my baby and I are so consciously held by her and are so lucky to have a midwife with such a deep trust in birth.
And last but not least my soul sister @lbreggy who is just my whole-entire-life-on-earth-doula. Inspires me everyday as a doula and woman 🌞

I created a list on my website of all of the wonderful wellness practitioners, doulas and midwives I love working with. List is mostly based in LA but it is growing beyond and many here offer virtual services so go check it out and build your village of support!

This year I hosted my first year long doula mentorship with 15 incredible ladies from around the world! This space was created to bring together women who are passionate about being in service to Mother Nature, new life on earth and the full spectrum of womanhood. It is a place for untangling the deep conditionings of fear and the illusion of control. A place for reconnecting with the power of sisterhood, intuition and our bodies. A place where doulas can be held as they support others.
At our closing circle this week we were lucky enough to have @miriamavalosceremonias join in from Mexico to share about some of her practices as a traditional midwife. Her generous spirit inspired deep heart connection and a reminder of what this sacred work is all about.
