Carson Meyer Instagram – B I R T H B L E S S I N G 🌛 my heart is so full from sitting in ceremony with these beautiful humans and getting to absorb their wise words and blessings as we set forth on this rite of passage. My incredible midwife and doula @thevitalwoman @lbreggy went above and beyond in creating the most sacred and meaningful space for connection and transformation for all of us. In a culture that often lacks tradition and ritual, it is moments like these that are such an important reminder of what life is all about. So grateful to feel so held and to be bringing this baby into such a loving community. A day I will always cherish at one of my favorite places @onesunfarms.
Carson Meyer Instagram – Village Appreciation Post 🌻 People keep asking me if I have a doula and the truth is I have many ! I feel so held by these amazing women and so lucky to be supported by their wisdom and gifts. In the first trimester my back was out of wack and @drmauramoynihan and @allisonoswald came to my rescue immediately to help me discover what my body was asking of me physically and emotionally. As soon as I got to LA for a visit @integrateflow_birth brought my nervous system into deep relaxation with her touch, soulfulness and nourishing food. @jackierobertswellness has keep my body feeling so good with her deep tissue massage. @umamother inspires deeper consciousness and connectivity through breath, grounding movement meditation. I have always admired her as a doula sister and am excited to take her virtual yoga class all the way from NC. Not long ago @sianfujikawa was my doula client but now she holds space for me and my preggy Malibu girlfriends as we flow and chat under the summer sun. My incredible midwife @thevitalwoman is such a grounding force and wise woman in my life. I know my baby and I are so consciously held by her and are so lucky to have a midwife with such a deep trust in birth. And last but not least my soul sister @lbreggy who is just my whole-entire-life-on-earth-doula. Inspires me everyday as a doula and woman 🌞 There are so many others not listed here who I have deep deep appreciation and admiration for. I created a list on my website of all of the wonderful wellness practitioners, doulas and midwives I love working with. List is mostly based in LA but it is growing beyond and many here offer virtual services so go check it out and build your village of support!
