Noureen DeWulf Instagram – Months ago the powers that be asked me to audition for the role of Kalypso in Shazam Fury of the Gods, an absolutely amazing role I would have killed to play… the part ended up going to Lucy Liu, I figured it would when I heard she was being considered, she’s pretty dope to say the least. Anyways her stills from the movie came out today, so I wanted to share the version of Kalypso that I created for my read. So much of my life is memorizing lines & creating characters and sometimes I get to actually play them on screen but a lot of times it’s just a performance for a day. I went way out for this one so I wanted to share. On the way to the audition several drivers on the highway tried to make conversation with me. I guess there’s something about a woman who draws all over her face that sparks interest at 60 mph (or maybe they were concerned for me, I don’t know, I kept my eyes facing forward). 🤣 | Posted on 17/Oct/2021 07:47:43
