What place is drier than your ex?
Ladakh is a cold desert lying in the Himalayas. Everything gets dry here.
So come prepared!
Oxygen is thin, altitude sickness is common.
Garlic is an essential here. Garlic soup, garlic water, garlic in your food.
Make sure you’re here on your honeymoon, Ladakh will be the true test of your marriage 😉 Jokes aside, what else would you take to Ladakh??

Monsoon time = Waterfalls for me.
What does Monsoon mean to you?
Here are a list of some of my favourites
1. Phi Phi Falls, Meghalaya
Aka -Paradise Falls.
It’s not for the faint hearted. Long walk, steep hill downwards- slipping and sliding. I had leeches on my leg by the time I reached the fall my legs were covered in leeches.
But it was worth it!!!
I jumped in. Had a brain freeze. Was so cold but it was worth it. One of the most beautiful experiences I’ve had in India in the monsoon!
2. Dudhsagar Falls, Goa
The Dudhsagar Waterfalls is at a height of 1017 feet making it one of highest waterfalls in the country.
It is called ‘Sea of Milk’ as the waterfall gives an illusion of milk 🥛 falling from the sky!
3. Jog Falls, Karnataka
India’s second-highest waterfall. It’s so spectacular. My mouth is open thinking about it.
4. Nohkalikai Falls, Meghalaya
It is the highest in the india and fourth highest in the world.
Nohkalikai is the Khasi language translates to “The Leap of Ka Likai”. It is believed that a woman named Ka Likai jumped from the cliff after finding out that her husband had cooked her infant daughter and fed it to her in a meal.
5. Wei Sawdong Falls, Meghalaya
To witness this fall, you will need to trek down a stretch of almost a 75 to 90-degree angle. I have made a separate reel on this. I was terrified 😂The villagers have made the path using bamboo trees and branches from trees!
6. Athirappily Falls, Kerala
India’s own Niagara Falls hidden in the luscious forest cin Kerala.
These waterfalls are not tall but wide making them as special as the tall ones.
I’m sure I’ve missed some . Give me some
More Monsoon Waterfall suggestions!!

Thank you all for your birthday wishes!!!
For the first time in a few years I decided I was not going to travel solo on my birthday but instead be surrounded by friends. And it was worth it!!
This is Slink & Bardot. My favourite restaurant in Mumbai. I used to like it before lockdown and now I loveeee the new Slink since it re opened. The decor and interiors are stunning.
But it’s the food that I want to keep going back for.
Slink has my favourite Chef Ali.
Try the burrata, mushrooms morels, red snapper, ceviche, the okra potatoes, the fried feta. Main course- I have to go back for the salmon. OMG everything is sooooo good there!!!! @slinkandbardot

At first I didn’t believe it. Just thought it was a tourist trap but then I saw the car that was moving back and the driver was not in the car.
We tried it too. We put the car in neutral and it just headed towards the hill.
The miracles of nature? Is the hill truly magnetic? Or is it an optical illusion ?
Jack and Jill should have gone up this hill in Ladakh. They wouldn’t have come tumbling down 😂
Sits at 14,000 feet above sea level- this is a major tourist attraction.
The hill that defies gravity!

Oops I thought I was stronger than this. I didn’t take the tablet cause I have pill phobia. Learnt my lesson !
My heart is pumping too fast
It’s confused
As usual
My oxy levels are too low
Breathlessness
Chest pain
I’m learning about acclimatisation and altitude sickness the hard way!
No i didn’t take the tablet before getting here, because I hate popping meds.
Give me some natural tips to stay strong this trip. Cause it’s just started!
I’m much better now today on day 2, that’s how I made this reel
And tomorrow I’m supposed to be off to Hanle.

Good morning from Ladakh! I’m acclimatised now finally. Took me awhile to go from sea level to Ladakh level but I’ve started exploring and having a blast. Ladakh is truly heavenly. I hope it stays this way!
Yesterday, started off at the Thiksey Monastery , then dressed up like a Ladakhi at a small shop in Druk School, stumbled upon a beautiful bridge full of prayer flags ( very common sight here ) and then ended up at the Rancho School of the 3 idiots which was very touristy but sometimes touristy is fun too! Ate lunch at a cute Cafe called Le Montuk ( great food, lovely view ) Was happy to go back to my hotel room ( Grand Dragon Hotel ) at the end of the day.
Question is what do I do today??? Ladakh, India

Would you visit this school ?
No, Aamir Khan does not own or fund this school.
Neither does Sonam Wangchuk ( Phunsuk Wangdu)
Unique things about this school-
1. Exams are in the courtyard
2. The school has been recognised for its eco-friendly dry toilets.
3. The school does not have rooms allotted for each class. They have allotted rooms for the teachers. The teachers have the liberty to set up their rooms the way they want to
4. Students can pick any instrument or style that they want to learn. Music is a big yes in this school
5. Out of the 860 children who study here, 275 are sponsored by well-wishers.
Students study in Bothi (the local language), English and Hindi.
Rancho’s School’ from the famous movie 3 Idiots in Ladakh wants to be known by its actual name.
The students and teachers request you to call it Druk Padma Karpo School’ and not as ‘Rancho’s School’ :))
Teachers complained that the tourists became unmanageable, as they used to wander into the school to take pictures.
So now, they have created a visitor’s photo area and wall plus a Rancho’s Cafe to allow tourists enjoy without disturbing the school and its 800 plus students.
I met people from all over india who just came to take pictures with the wall.

As glamorous as it looks, it can also get lonely and exhausting on the road. Also all the time I spend editing the content leaves little time for me to just chill with friends.
I sometimes feel that I have many friends but not too many deep friendships.
Maybe it’s because I move around a lot. Maybe it’s because I’ve lived in different cities. Maybe it’s because I really enjoy spending a lot of time alone.
What about you? Tell me about your friendships and deepest closest friends?
