We bought it for only $4k because it was in such bad shape. The wood slats were a labor of love, but did take a while to do. Maybe the slats will make a return on a Bargain Block house someday…perhaps a scandi mod house? Detroit, Michigan

The zen house! Such a vibe! I couldn’t believe how Keith took that room from looking like “up north” drap to zen house fab in a matter of hours.
The process on this house was quite the journey. From rotting walls and ruined plaster to a literal jungle in the backyard full of random equipment (a boat hauler?!), it was not zen until the very last few days. But then, when we started installing all the paneling and made the window treatments, suddenly it was there!

I loved this little vignette Keith styled for the “CHONKAY” house 😉. It’s just cool…i don’t know why. I feel like styling a vignette like this is tricky to get right and Keith just “has it”. Do you guys struggle with that? I wouldn’t even attempt it 😂.
