In the Osteria Italiana I talked longer with the very sympathetic four guys directly at the neighboring table and gave some food recommendations.
Who really sat next to me I learned only much later.
When the cool guys were just before the dessert, I had recommended the zabaglione, I asked Sting if he could prepare in front of the restaurant in the middle of the street with his friends, the zabaglione live.
And I would love to take some cinematic photos with him. Sting briefly looked at the photos I had taken in the past and very sympathetically and immediately just agreed.
Maybe that is exactly why he is still a genius today as a composer, musician, singer, actor, because he is always looking for something new, looking for excitement and also wants to surprise himself and others.
A long long time ago I had, among other things, a pirate rock radio station and made numerous rock shows. Had interviews with David Bowie, Falco, Tom Petty, Dusty Hill and and during that time. It’s a pity that I started taking pictures only since last year.
Sting was never in my studio with me. What a pleasure to be able to get to know him in a completely different way.
Actually, one would have to make a whole series of extraordinary cinematic pictures with Sting. Maybe what the world looks like if you don’t support Sting’s wonderful climate projects.
