I remember everything my husband taught me in taking stance, squeezing the trigger with my exhale, as the front sight paints my target.
In a flash and a jolt I hear my grandpa-in-law shout in utter joy. To me, the change of structure in my target matters little but to hear my 90 year old grandfather sing my praises is worth more than any target could hold.
Being with GPA, doing this always is the highlight of my trip back to see my family on other side of the planet.
PS – hear my Father(in-law) and my dear husband!! What more can I ask for… my most favourite times! Love you Captain, love you husband!!

ORCA – aka Killer Whale
@ibrentgoble meticulously planned this trip for my dream to come true.
Since we met – I told him about my dream, my ultimate wish and he made it happen.
My in-laws participated and made all the arrangements with my husband and got me to the Pacific Ocean – to San Juan islands.
For over five years I watched videos and pictures of these magnificent mammals before going to bed and I will say when you manifest something deeply – it becomes REAL.
So thankful for this life, it is FULL.
Thank you @ibrentgoble and thankful for my in-laws.

Ornicus Orca ❤️
You will often hear it before you see it, somewhere in the lowering gray fog, there is this loud, almost popping “kooosh” sound.
The towering black fin, six feet high, gliding out of the water atop the massive back of a thirty-foot killer whale.
MOMENT OF MY LIFE!
When we saw the T65A matriline (Bigg’s Transient)
Orcas are matriarchal- they live in pods and have extreme social behaviours – better than humans. They echolocate and communicate with one another.
They have memory and they pass it along to new calves.
The more I know and the more I read is less.
The T65A pod we saw here were 2 mommas and theirs 3 babies each. Total 8.

In search of Orcas
Took off from Puget Sound – Ports Townsend and landed in Canadian waters near Vancouver island – just then we found the majestic #humpbackwhales
Not one but several – blessed to see them in such close proximity and multiple gigantic blow outs in fair distance and unforgettable sights of seeing them BREACH ❤️ 🐋
At one time they snuck up right next to our boat and I – froze.
Orcas does make me skip a beat and I get to call them my spirit awakening beauties but to see humpbacks was none less than a giant blessing.

Happy World Orca Day
This is what happened from the trip we took. Salish sea and the T pod blessed us in the most special way.
I did not want to utter a whisper but words in the name of god did not stop. I cried and shivered and then cried some more to see the most majestic creature to have been on this planet way before us.
Since the very first time I saw them captive at sea world – to my uneducated mind it seemed like education but no – I was WRONG. So wrong.
Pledged to see them in the wild, where they belong and now as I educate myself more about who they are – the more fascinated I become. I am drawn more towards them as I learn that they are truly the most intelligent marine life – I would not hold back to say even compared to land life and us humans.
What I desire from this point on is to get a hydrophone – a telephoto lens – my husband @ibrentgoble (what would I do without you) and travel all the oceans and off shores where they belong.
My longing to be with them has quadrupled.
I am so thankful for @ibrentgoble
You made this happen.
On this world #Orca Day do pledge to never buy a ticket to #seaworld and the kinds.

To all the scientists, marine biologist and naturalists – my respect and love for you has doubled . Thank you for all the work done over the years – research might be for the world but for you all this has been your life.

Our Marine Naturalist explained an Orca Funeral to us. As a pod travels together, the life cycle of an elder orca eventually comes to end. This isn’t sudden for the pod, as they are all emotionally intertwined.
The elder orca will swim to absolute exhaustion, foregoing rest and the need to take a breath from above. Unable to swim to the surface, the pod will surround the elder and lift them to the surface for one final breath. Sharing one final moment together as a pod, they disperse gently allowing the elder to peacefully descend to their eternal place of rest below. ❤️
