I would wake up to rejection emails almost every other day from festivals.
A film teaches you so much.
To be patient, to be kind, to be grateful, to be angry, to be persistent, to be lonely.
It also made me realise no festival is small or big enough in front of a film.
It’s a festival where the film will be shared by people and that’s the foremost important factor as a filmmaker.
