These ladies… what a gift to get to work together again. We have a special history that is beyond… we worked hard together as kids to make a show that people still love, we did high school together and our parents all looked out for us too as we were minors when we started. It was a safe place to grow up and now we get to take those sweet roots and fly together as women. Don’t you love those connections that have history where you just get right to it with no explaining? It’s so comforting and we can’t wait to share some magic with you when season 2 comes out ! ❤️❤️❤️ #friendsforever #imsoexcited #sbtb #JessieKellyLisa @peacocktv #hotsundae

Starting with my extraordinary mom….she was the first to show me the power and magic that happens when a woman champions another. I am grateful to be the recipient of so much love from the female relationships I nurture and cultivate. I also have been amazed by the sisterhood of the teen girls globally that I serve. When a woman has your back, you are unstoppable. When you learn to have your own back, you are nothing short of magic. ✨✨💖💖 when the women in your life remind you to do that, you are blessed. Let’s lift each other up. And let’s always remind each other.

This little girl has loved dance her whole life. It has been her passion, her drive her salvation and her oxygen time and time again. I love to reflect upon how it’s always been the gift that keeps giving in my life-that when I do it I feel my most “Elizabeth”. My teachers and choreographers have been the greatest gifts in my life and the value of the hours and hours and years of this level of dedication have powered in me an unstoppable ability to be resilient , a work ethic I bring from the barre into everything I devote myself to, and a joy, magic and creative artistry and expression that only dance can provide. 💃🏼🩰👯♀️ It is one of the great loves of my life. Thank God my parents took my dreams seriously. ❤️
Happy #internationaldanceday
Ps. Photo is from Miss Barbara’s School of Dance the summer I was 12. My beloved mommy made my costume. I sang and danced to “I Enjoy Being A Girl”. There was a skirt I removed after the song before going into the dance but I can’t seem to find a pic w that 😊
Happy 80th birthday to this special human being!!!✨✨✨ Some people say never get too close to a hero, they will disappoint… in this case, working alongside Al Pacino lived up to my hopes and beyond. He is the most generous, passionate, devoted actor/scene partner and an absolute gentleman who treated me with the utmost respect. Sending love and sweet birthday wishes from afar!!🙏🏼🙏🏼✨✨❤️🥳 #anygivensunday

THE GL SCRAPS BACKPACK
The GL SCRAPS backpack is made from the scraps of vintage U.S. Army tents right here in Los Angeles. In partnership with Communities In Schools of Los Angeles (CISLA), when you buy one GL SCRAPS Backpack, we give 5 backpacks to students who need it most in Los Angeles.
You may not think that a backpack is something that students need for virtual learning. However, what we learned from social workers at CISLA is that students now, more than ever, need a place to house all of their virtual learning supplies. Especially in homes where families have limited space. Help us, help students stay organized.
“We believe every child in America should have equal opportunity and access to a quality education. As children all over the country return to school this week, it is important to be conscious of the equity gap among rich and poor students, especially underserved Latino and Black students, those without full digital access, and supplies, English learners and those with disabilities, who will be left even farther behind.” -CISLA
Communities In Schools of Los Angeles (CISLA) is dedicated to empowering students, who are most at-risk for dropping out, to stay in school and on a path to a brighter future.
In Los Angeles, working directly with 13 schools across the district, CISLA connects kids to caring adults and community resources designed to help them succeed. The schools we serve are part of the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) and are located in the historically impoverished neighborhoods of Boyle Heights, Pico-Union, South Central Los Angeles, Watts, and West Los Angeles.
In partnership with local organizations, CISLA ensures that students in their program – regardless of the challenges they may face – have what they need to graduate high school and attend college.

After 15 years of serving adolescent girls with my #askelizabeth workshops I provide as a volunteer in middle schools and high schools globally, I’m more inspired than ever to create new platforms to serve girls in new ways. The experience of the in person workshops filled with the entire female student body of a given school is a shared magic that is hard to put into words. I just came across this video I made a few years back to capture the spirit and collection of voices and heartbeats lovingly shared across the pages of our New York Times Bestselling book #Askelizabeth. Amazing girls ages 12-22 shared their wisdom and advice to let them know they are not alone in their journey. Sending love to you all right now. We are more connected than ever and you are not alone. ❤️🙏🏼
