PRINTS FOR PEACE
– Flower Bomb
Aufgewachsen in völliger Behütung, waren Kriege präsent durch Geschichtsbücher und Nachrichten. Auch in kürzerer Vergangenheit, aber nie so greifbar und nah wie aktuell. Und auf einmal war da die völlige Überforderung. Man möchte verstehen, helfen und schämt sich dafür, dass es einem so gut geht. Die Hilfsbereitschaft ist groß: Der eine versammelt sich bei Demonstrationen, der nächste sortiert Sachen aus oder spendet im Stillen. Auch Kunst und Kultur sind Helfer in solchen Zeiten – ein paar Zeilen lesen, jemandem zuhören, Musik, Theater, Bilder. Ich entdeckte verschiedenste Aktionen, wo Künstler*innen ihre Werke als Drucke verkauften und den Erlös teilweise oder ganz spendeten. Dies setzte den Impuls für ein gemeinsames Projekt mit der Fotografin @studionedarajabi
In ihrem Studio nahm sie letztes Jahr ein Bild von mir auf: Kleine, zarte, helle Blüten auf einer rauen Zunge. Absurd schön und aufmunternd. Bitter-süß.
Dieses Motiv “Flowerbomb” haben wir als Print ausgewählt. 100% der Einnahmen unserer Aktion, werden an drei Organisationen (@doarte_stiftung , @hawar.help , @visionsforchildren ) gespendet, die sich tagtäglich für Frauen-, Kinder- und Menschenrechte einsetzen. So wollen wir nicht nur Geflüchteten aus der Ukraine, sondern aus verschiedenen Teilen der Welt beistehen. Wir freuen uns über jeden Einzelnen, der hier unterstützt.
