Goodbye #covid_19 hair – Hello to change… Tomorrow I meet you #haircolor
I wasn’t gonna to post anything about it being my birthday today, then this happened. @thetaramason realized it was my birthday today and it felt like less then 30min later, this cake showed up at my door, saying “Happy Birthday Magda!”. She lives in TORONTO for fuck sakes, I actually cried!! I was so overwhelmed, no one has ever done something so special and unexpected like this. My John Hugh’s moment re: #sixteencandles / Thank you Tara, truly. Your kindness blows me away everyday I know you.❤️🦋

Anyone else get to a place in their #quartinelife where they too, are tired of doing dishes… so the next best thing is to grab the largest clean mug, to eat a bowl of cereal… ? Meh…
How many people have been getting down on some #puzzles action during their #quartinelife ??
I have a day off – ready to relax! What is your favourite #movie to watch, I’m open to suggestions? Top fav might be hard – top three feel goods 🍿 you interchange and always go back to??
DOUBLE FEATURE for the lovers of gore and cinema! #TheMuseumOfModernArt will be screening both features and will have a Q&A afterward with the creative cinephile himself #EliRoth Not for the faint of heart’s nor the weak of stomach’s 🖤 Repost from @realeliroth • Sat Aug 27th #CabinFever & #TheGreenInferno will be screening at @themuseumofmodernart ! I’ll be doing a Q&A after Cabin Fever and introducing The Green Inferno screening. I grew up going to MoMA and screened my student film Restaurant Dogs there for the 1995 student academy awards. It’s a real honor for me, should be a fun night. See you there! Tix on the MOMA website.

* #ivoted • ME: Do you guys have ‘I Voted’ stickers? I says to the brave Volunteer risking his health during a pandemic because he believes in something. (Double side note, I respect everyone who’s volunteered this year.) The kid in me was bummed last time I voted. They had run out of stickers. • GENTLEMAN VOLUNTEER: Is this your first year voting? He said it with such gusto. The utter excitement in his voice felt I’d be letting him down if I said ‘no’. As though it instilled a kind of hope in him for the future. The young have chosen to stand their ground and speak! * ME:😂☺️🙃 With jokes on the side, I do hope everyone who’s of age sees not only the privilege we have (we’ve come from a dark lineage of humanity). Secondly your input on how things are run does truly mean something.
I rescued this beautiful incredible pumpkin nugget old man 2months ago. I knew I wanted to adopt a senior pup #rescuedog I knew the young ones will be taken care of, it’s the elder/senior dogs that really need a loving home. Jackson (Jax/Jackie) has been helping me with my #mentalhealth and #agoraphobia He is ALWAYS smiling and it makes me laugh. Langley Animal Pet Shelter says it best ⬇️ • Repost from @laps_bc • Jack came to the care of LAPS in June after his elderly owner sadly passed away. This senior Chihuahua was super sweet but unfortunately, Jack had several health problems causing him a lot of discomfort. After extensive vet visits, blood work, and ultrasounds, it was discovered that Jack’s troubles ranged from periodontal disease to a probable cancerous mass on his Pancreas. Regardless of his health problems, Jack is the happiest guy you will ever meet. You would never know he had so much going on inside. We knew we owed it to Jack to give him all the love and care he deserved for the days he had left. Fortunately, a kind-hearted community member heard about Jack and instantly fell in love. This week, he was adopted into a loving home where his palliative care needs will be exceeded in every way. We are so excited that Jack has found the second chance he so deserved. Jack is not the first senior animal in need of extensive medical care that we’ve helped this year, and he won’t be the last. Please consider donating to help support a sweet senior shelter animal in need of a little extra care. You can donate directly to the animals here: https://www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/2513
