Sharing a little clip from one of my films ‘Meghey Dhaka Tara’ , directed by Kamaleshwar Mukherjee and produced by Sree Venkatesh Films..(a biopic on the great Ritwik Ghatak) where I played the golden lady Supriya Devi. A film I’m so proud to be a part of.

Mumtaz Sorcar Instagram – Here’s how I prepared to play/enact/become ‘Jhorna Ghosh’ a character inspired by India’s iconic fireball pacer @jhulangoswami for my film #shabaashmithu , a biopic on superstar cricketer @mithaliraj ! It wasn’t an easy task and I almost forgot that I was actually an actor and not a cricketer 😆😋…. I cannot thank my coaches enough (@nooshin_alkhadeer @deviekapalshikaar20 @kavita_patil15 @kavitapandya3 @imtiaz.mohammed6 @sushil.kumar.52056223 ) for having all the patience (one can have 😆), confidence in me and helping me become the character I was playing! @akanksha_satya thank you for being my fairy godmother, getting me up on my feet every time I injured myself 🤕😄!
And last but not the least….. my director @srijitmukherji , thank you for having faith, confidence, foresight and pushing me beyond my limits to achieve whatever little that I have… 😁🙏🏻
