Home Actress Olivia Wilde HD Instagram Photos and Wallpapers August 2022 Olivia Wilde Instagram - I have a fear of wigs. Maybe it’s because most of the time they’re bad bad bad and also painful. Maybe that’s just my whack wig experience. When we were making DWD, I knew the hair was going to be a crucial, transformative element of our story-telling. And I knew it would involve wigs. So we needed THE BEST. Enter: THE BEST, aka @jaimeleigh.hair ! And she does WAY more than just wigs of course. She was a master of making the most natural, exquisitely undone perfect dream hair on our super star, @florencepugh who is almost the only actress NOT wearing a wig in the entire film, along with the amazing @sydneychandler_ . Jaime and I poured over mountains of research, getting giddy over inspiration that ranged from Brigitte Bardot to Mia Farrow to Rita Hayworth to Jane Russell to Betty Page, and beyond. I learned more about the variations of the color red than I ever thought possible. She and her team performed miracles (including fitting a wig on my gigantic fivehead, and keeping a bow in Flo’s hair during a high speed car-chase) and created an entire world of hair that informed (and transformed) characters, and painted the film with absurdly gorgeous color and texture. Jaime also has an unbeatable vibe: unflappable, even when the director won’t stop moving long enough to fix her damn wig cap. Jaime, you’re a superhero. Thank you for being the coolest while being so effortlessly brilliant. Here is a small taste of the results of your incredible work.

Olivia Wilde Instagram – Look closely. DWD. 9•23•22
Olivia Wilde Instagram – Continuing my countdown to Venice crew tributes because I’m overwhelmed with love for these people and the insane work they did on this movie. Next up: Production Design. SO much of what you experience in every frame of a movie is production design. I often feel like PDs are the unspoken heroes of filmmaking. My hero, on @dontworrydarling AND Booksmart, is @katie_byron . She and her team create original worlds full of so many details and layers (and a if I’m lucky – MINIATURES) it’s truly astonishing. Their research alone is mind blowing. Along with our unbelievable location manager, Chris Baugh, Katie and her team made miracles happen. I’m indebted to them all for so much, including building an entire mid-century dream house on a soundstage (seemingly in minutes), convincing a legion of people to let me to shoot in the Kaufmann House – the first film to do so, finding an impossible location in the middle of Barstow, going on countless scouts with me in 100 degree heat in the depths summer, and generally just kicking ass every single day and night. Just wait til you see what they made for you. Thank you, @katie_byron, for being a goddamn G. I can’t wait to find an excuse for us to make minis again soon.
