Caption : Verily the eyes shed tears and the heart grieves, but we will not say except that which is pleasing to our Lord.” My father, Zahid Wasim, has passed away. Please remember him in your prayers and ask Allah to forgive his shortcomings, make his grave peaceful, protect him from its torment, ease his journey from here ahead. May he be called to an easy accounting and be granted the highest level of Jannah and Maghrirah. Indeed, we belong to Allah, and Indeed, to Him, we shall return.Likes : 93643

Caption : Kashmir continues to suffer and see- saw between hope and frustration। There’s a false and uneasy semblance of calmness in place of escalating despair and sorrow। Kashmiris continue to exist and suffer in a world where it is so easy to place restrictions on our liberty. Why do we have to live in a world where our lives and wills are controlled, dictated and bent? Why is it so easy to have our voices silenced? Why is it so easy to curtail our freedom of expression? Why aren’t we ever allowed to voice our opinions, let alone our disprovals, to decisions that are made contrary to our wishes? Why is it that instead of trying to see the cause of our view, our view is just condemned ruthfully? What is so easy to curb our voices so severely? Why can we not live simple lives without always having to wrestle and remind the world of our existence. Why is that life of a Kashmiri is just about experiencing a lifetime of crisis, blockade and disturbance so abundantly that it has taken away the recognition of normalcy and harmony from the hearts and minds? Hundreds of questions like these-unanswered; leaving us bewildered and frustrated, but our frustrations find no outlet. The authority doesn’t make the slightest effort to put a stop to our doubts and speculations but stubbornly tend to go their own way to confine our existence mired in a confused, conflicted and a paralysed world. But I ask the world, what has altered your acceptance of the misery and oppression we’re being subjected to? Do not believe the unfair representation of the facts and details or the rosy hue that the media has cast on the reality of the situation. Ask questions, re-examine the biased assumptions. Ask questions. For our voices have been silenced- and for how long….none of us really know!Likes : 84911

Caption : Bismillāh ir-Rahmān ir-Raheem (In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious the Most Merciful). The statement of the one who says ‘Bismillāh’’ does not refer to just one of Allah’s names. Rather, it refers to all the names of Allah. This indicates to you the greatness of this Basmalah (Bismillāh ir-Rahmān ir-Raheem), in that you begin by seeking blessings and aid through every name amongst the Names of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic. Shaykh al-Uthaymeen (Rahimahullāh), Tafseer Surah as-Saffat, page 12 _____________________________________________ It says in al-Mawsoo‘ah al-Fiqhiyyah, 8/92: “Most of the fuqaha’ are agreed that saying the name of Allah is prescribed for all things of importance, both acts of worship and other things”Likes : 83061

If you had Taqwa (piety) , nothing of what you seek would be difficult to attain, because the key of piety opens every door. So long as the god-fearing individual remains true to the purity of Taqwa (piety), then he will not be harmed, but when he strays away from treading the path of piety, he will meet many difficulties.” — Ibn al-Jawzi | اللطائف كتابLikes : 62337

Caption : Posted @withrepost • @thatwokeladki “On this same road, 24 hours we did a protest. We’ve eaten the snakes. We’ve eaten deadbody. We’ve eaten rat. We’ve eaten on the road. You see this is the condition of the farmers. What is the use. . . Can’t you see. Our, tamil nadu farmers’ families are on the road. What is the use of. . . we are not going to return to Tamil Nadu without getting our demands” (Video courtesy: @kriteyy ) Around 1,200 farmers from Tamil Nadu participated in the #KisanMuktiMarch in Delhi. Led by Ayyakkannu, this group vented their anger and frustration in a novel way, something they had done earlier too during their month-long protest in Delhi last year. They stripped themselves and covered their body parts with the skulls and bones of their fellow farmers who committed suicide in the past years. Farmers demand remunerative prices for their produce and freedom from debt. A pamphlet distributed by the activists details their grievances. It says farmers get only Rs 5 per kilo for tomato while consumers pay Rs 30. Similarly, the pamphlet shows such difference in rates of moong dal, apples and milk. “Our life is also cheap. In the last 20 years, over three lakh farmers have committed suicide,” it says. Protesting farmers demanded a special session of Parliament on agrarian crisis to pass two Bills: one pertaining to one-time full loan waiver, the other for a long-term institutional measures to ensure farmers are not pushed into debt again. They also demand implementation of Swaminathan Commission recommendations that say the minimum support price should be fixed at 50% above the comprehensive cost of production. The massive protest march by farmers in Delhi last week drew the attention of the entire country, but there was complete silence from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Agriculture Minister. @sassykidwoman who was an active participant in the protest writes: “They had a follow up event in ramleela maidan on 3rd December, some small time leaders came to assure them but no concrete action as of yet.” I see suicide awareness posts everytime a celebrity dies but the internet seems rather silent when it comes to poor killing themselves. ![Zaira Wasim - 51.9K Likes - “Surah Al-Fatihah”
This Surah is called Al-Fatihah, that is, the Opener of the Book, the Surah with which prayers are begun. It is also called, Umm Al-Kitab (the Mother of the Book), because the Qur'an starts with it and because the prayer is started by reciting it.
It was also said that it is called Umm Al-Kitab, because it contains the meanings of the entire Qur'an. Every Salāh is incomplete without it’s recitation as Muslim recorded that Abu Hurayrah said that the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) said, “Whoever performs any prayer in which he did not read Umm Al-Qur'an, then his prayer is incomplete” & he said it thrice.
The honorable Surah Al-Fatihah contains seven Ayāt (verses) including the praise and thanks of Allah, glorifying Him and praising Him by mentioning His most Beautiful Names and most high Attributes.
It also mentions the Hereafter, which is the Day of Resurrection, and directs Allah's servants to ask of Him, invoking Him and declaring that all power and strength comes from Him. It also calls to the sincerity of the worship of Allah alone, singling Him out in His divinity, believing in His perfection, being free from the need of any partners, having no rivals nor equals.
Al-Fatihah directs the believers to invoke Allah to guide them to the straight path, which is the true religion, and to help them remain on that path in this life, and to pass over the actual Sirat (bridge over hell that everyone must pass over) on the Day of Judgment. On that Day, the believers will be directed to the gardens of comfort in the company of the Prophets, the truthful ones, the martyrs and the righteous.
Al-Fatihah also encourages performing good deeds, so that the believers will be in the company of the good-doers on the Day of Resurrection. The Surah also warns against following the paths of misguidance, so that one does not end up being gathered with those who indulge in sin, on the Day of Resurrection, including those who have earned the anger and those who were led astray. Caption : “And in the Hereafter they have Yaqin (certainity)” -Qur’an 2:4 The people described here are those whom Allah described in the preceding Ayah (verse)- “Those who have Iman (faith) in the Ghayb (unseen) and perform Salah and spend out of what We have provided for them (2:3) These are attributes of the believers and hence Yaqin is to Iman what the soul is to the body. For it is not possible that one believes in the Ghayb (the unseen), performs the prayer and gives Zakah without believing in Allah and what the Prophet ﷺ was sent with. As Ibn Qayim al Jawziyyah رحمه الله explains, ‘Yaqin is the soul to the actions of the heart which in turn formulate the souls to the actions of the limbs and through it one attains the rank of the Siddiq (the truthful). From Yaqin sprouts absolute reliance in Allah and through Yaqin all doubts and worries are dispelled and the heart is filled with love, hope, and fear of Allah. This is why some of the righteous predecessors said, “Yaqin is from Iman (faith)”’Likes : 48426
