For decades, Ballroom has given many a space to freely and unapologetically express themselves without judgment; only in the forms of 10ās or chops. Birthed in NYC, it was safe haven for a demographic that had little to no acceptance any place else. Throughout the years, liberation and acceptance have become more widespread and we are now at the forefront of entertainment, many on the cusp of stardom that all started on a small runway with only People like us. Personally, have gained A family, notariety, countless wins and most importance SELF CONFIDENCE!! Iām so damn Cozy!! Iām So comfortable with who I am and and even more excited about where Iām going!!
This is a look back at many of my ballroom moments that all lead up to my invitation to join the amazing crew and cast of @scout.productions and @legendarymax, which has given me a platform to inspire so many people and continue growing. I am forever grateful!
